POP3, IMAP & SMTP are protocols that determine how emails are handled. POP3 is an incoming mail protocol that downloads all email from our servers and stores them locally on your choice of application. IMAP is an alternate incoming mail protocol that stores all the emails on our servers and makes them accessible to IMAP applications. SMTP is an outgoing mail protocol that is used to send out emails. Settings for POP3, IMAP & SMTP can be configured in your cPanel.
